Sabi ng Mirriam-Webster dictionary, ang "love" daw ay:

1. (Noun) - a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person.

2. (Verb) - to feel great affection for (someone); to hold dear: cherish

Higit sa mga depinisyon na nabanggit, ang pag-ibig ay isang desisyon at hindi lamang basta emosyon. It is a decision and an act of will based on the decision you have made to love someone. 

Sabi sa ikalawang depinisyon, ito ay "verb". Hindi basta "linking verb" o "auxiliary verb" kung hindi "action word". Ibig sabihin, hindi sapat na sabihing mahal mo ang isang tao. Kailangan patunayan ito ng "gawa". You must devote your time and effort to the people that you love. :) - Marlon Molmisa
